Heath Hill started strong with some early attacks from the strikers and midfield. Bilborough did press at times but a cracking save made by D Macdonald one on one outside the box and continual good defending led by Crowther kept the keen Bilborough Rangers side at bay.
Another good show of work rate from the team and calm one two play between defence and midfield saw Heath Hill go in half time 0-0 but looking the stronger side.
Sub: Gothard for Ajetumohbi
2nd half Heath Hill really pressured the Bilborough Rangers goal, some fantastic football between Tonks and Parry ensured the ball was continually moved around in the right areas and lots of opportunity was given with pressure from the midfield.
Sub Bannister for Serrokh
A lovely Floated corner from Montano was put over the bar off the head of J. Macdonald.
Tassa was unlucky when he found space and chipped the keeper from a tight angle with the ball going just wide.
The breakthrough finally came with less than 5 mins on the clock , a great ball from Gothard , found Bannister with room to shoot, Bannister fired into the top of the net ensuring the 3 points.
Credit to all the lads for work rate and keeping positive, earning the 1st clean sheet of the season.
