HEATH HILL FC
OFFICIAL WEBSITE

With September out of the way Heath Hill were able to field a much more familiar team. Eaton Hall arrived full of confidence for this County Cup game after a good start to the season and they quickly took the game to Heath Hill.  Heath Hill defended well early on and then gradually came more into the game more as the half progressed.
The back four of Crowther, Parry, Davey and Sparkes looked solid and the work ethic throughout the team was good. Heath Hill took the lead midway through the half with a fine finish from J.Hodson after good work from Tassa. Heath Hill held firm at the back despite an ankle injury to Davey.
The second half began with Eaton Hall pressing for the equaliser, But J.MacDonald, Dixon, Hodson and Bannister battled for everything in midfield and Heath Hill started to get the upper hand. Parry made a number of good runs down the right and several chances were created.
Tonks was introduced up front to replace the tiring Tataobyzagwu and after a throw in to the box from MacDonald to Tassa the second goal came. The Eaton Hall defender was wrong footed after Tassa turned him and the ball bounced up to hit his hand and a penalty was awarded.
Parry strode up to finish well from the spot and put the game beyond Eaton Hall’s reach.
Heath Hill worked hard for the victory, it was an outstanding team performance, a special mention has to go to man of the match Bannister for an outstanding performance in the middle of the park.
Nice to get a clean sheet and nice to have such commitment from the 12 guys who turned up.
Well Done!!
